Meet the Owner of Milk & Honey Lactation Services

Hi there! I'm Brittany, RN, IBCLC and owner of Milk & Honey Lactation Services. I began my nursing career in Neonatal Intensive Care in 2017, where I first fell in love with precious babies and supporting their families during their NICU stay.

In 2020, I had my first child, and breastfeeding began as a struggle. After seeking lactation support, I was able to successfully breastfeed my child beyond his first year of life. As we worked through our own challenges, I became inspired to serve families of East Texas in their breastfeeding journeys and became an IBCLC in 2021.

If you’re having any difficulties, please check out my services. I’d love to help!

Our Mission

The mission is to serve families of East Texas and beyond by providing them exceptional lactation and infant feeding support. Since the beginning, my vision for Milk & Honey Lactation Services has been to educate and empower families in their feeding journeys. It doesn’t matter if you plan to exclusively breastfeed, do combination feeding, start bottle feeding, exclusively pump, or something else. An IBCLC can help with:

  • Prenatal lactation education
  • Latching comfortably
  • Nipple or breast pain
  • Milk supply
  • Slow weight gain of baby
  • Supplementation
  • Bottle feeding
  • Restricted oral tissues
  • Breast refusal
  • Returning to work
  • Pumping and flange sizing
  • Introducing solids
  • Weaning

These services can be in-home or virtual, let us know what works best for you.
